The EXTEN-A-KUT® II offset mower is designed for cutting grass, weeds, and brush up to 1" in diameter along road-sides, ditch-banks, and other hard-to-reach areas including pond and creek banks. The hydraulically-powered arm can extend the mowing head out 12-feet, 6-inches from the tractor center-line. Being hydraulically-driven, there are no mechanical drive-lines, belts, pulleys, U-joints, or complicated drives. The hydraulic system is powered by a gear pump operating at 39-gallons-per-minute at 540 PTO, which will provide the power you need in tough mowing situations. The operating range of the cutting head is 85-degrees up and 70-degrees down allowing the operator to mow in many different circumstances that are impossible with ordinary mowers. Counterweight is provided with a 60-gallon hydraulic reservoir tank. The large hydraulic oil tank will also permit the system to run cooler in rough mowing conditions. Recommended tractor size is 60-HP, however a 45-HP tractor may be used with ample front-end counterweight.

MOUNTING:
The EXTEN-A-KUT II mounts to the tractor using the CAT II three-point hitch. A tractor size of 60-HP is recommended. A smaller tractor with 45-HP may be used, however ample front-end counterweight will be required.CUTTING HEAD:
The cutting head has a mowing swath of 59-3/4". It will cut through up to 1" diameter vegetation and is adjustable from 3-1/4" to 9-1/2" with adjustable tailwheel. The overall width of the mower is 67-1/2" and the height is 22-3/4". The blade is a single spindle blade with clockwise rotation. Available with a bar or pan blade carrier, the blade length from pin center to tip is 18-1/8". The top deck is constructed using 10-gauge steel. The mower has a tilt angle of 85-degrees up through 70-degrees down. Front and rear deflector flaps are standard. ARM EXTENSION:
The EXTEN-A-KUT II arm can extend the mower head out to a maximum of 12-feet, 6-inches from the center-line of the tractor. HYDRAULIC PUMP:
The hydraulic pump is gear-type with an operating pressure rating of 2,500 PSI. The pump operates at 39 GPM at 540 PTO which provides a blade tip speed of 22,220 FPM. HYDRAULIC MOTOR:
The hydraulic motor is also gear-type with a 2,500 PSI relief setting. The unit is equipped with a 1" diameter pressure and return hose and a 1-1/4" diameter suction hose. The EXTEN-A-KUT II uses a 60-gallon hydraulic reservoir tank which will allow the unit to run cooler in tough mowing conditions and also provides counterweight. OTHER OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:
